Additional information:

Among the sixty-seven (67) recalls the NHTSA has announced this month comes news of the following:

Logo - Bombardier Recreational ProductsBombardier Recreational Products (“Bombardier” or “BRP”), a Valcourt, Quebec, establishment, has recalled an estimated 6,866 model year 2020 Bombardier branded Can-Am Ryker Motorcycles marketed, sold and delivered in the United States.

Recall Category: Wheels – Front Wheels may detach from vehicle

NHTSA Safety Notification 20V632000 reports the Front Wheels of the recalled Motorcycles may have been improperly installed, possibly resulting in their separation from the Motorcycle.

According to the NHTSA, improper installation of crucial components can allow the Front Wheel to separate from the Motorcycle, increasing the risk of a crash, MVA or other impact event with consequential risks of laceration, concussion, bone fracture and/or life-changing results.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat lacerations, concussions and/or bone fractures.

Bombardier will notify registered owners, and dealers will check the tightness of the Front Wheel and reinstall the Red Locking Clip.

The recall is expected to begin November 2, 2020. Owners may contact Bombardier Customer Service toll-free at 1-888-272-9222 during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, Eastern Standard Time (“EST”). No manufacturer’s designation was listed for this recall at press time.
