Abba Medix Sage N Sour Dried Cannabis Recall [Canada]

Canada/Ottawa: Abba Medix Corp., a Pickering, Ontario establishment, recalls an estimated 72 units of Sage N Sour Dried Cannabis products from the Canadian marketplace due to reported failure to properly identify the active cannabinoid values for THC and Total THC in a single batch/lot of the medication and consequential risks of THC impairment, decreased ability to operate machines and disorientation, all serious health and safety hazards.

Additional information:
Health Canada/Santé Canada (“HCSC”) reports the following Dried Cannabis products are subject to this recall:

  • Abba Medix branded Sage N Sour Dried Cannabis, sold in 5 gram and 10 gram containers with a batch/lot number of B49SSDF
    • The incorrect label states the following active ingredients: THC: 0% w/w, Total THC: 0% w/w, CBD: 0% w/w and Total CBD: 0% w/w
    • The correct label should state the following active ingredients: THC: 0% w/w, Total THC: 0% w/w, THC: 0.97% w/w and Total THC: 20.16% w/w

==> No barcodes, UPCs, NDCs, DINs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to Health Canada, the labels affixed to the recalled Dried Cannabis products do not reportedly include the correct Cannabinoid values for THC and Total THC. The correct values are 0.97% for THC and 20.16% for Total THC.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Abba Medix branded Sage N Sour Dried Cannabis, please do not use them. Instead, contact Abba Medix for next steps.
