US FlagUS/Washington: CB2, a Chicago, Illinois establishment, recalls an estimated 67 Bordo and Bordo XL Dining Tables from the American marketplace due to suspected structural failure and component detachment with consequential risks of laceration, concussion and bone fracture, all serious safety hazards.

Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain Bordo and Bordo XL Dining Tables, as follows:

  • The recalled Concrete Dining Tables measure approximately 84 inches long by 40 inches wide and 29.5 inches high for the Regular-Sized Table and approximately 107.5 inches long by 40 inches wide and 29.5 inches high for the XL-Sized Table. All Bordo Tables are white and are included in the recall, as follows:
    • Bordo Concrete Dining Table, sold with an item number of 668603
    • Bordo Xl Concrete Table, sold with an item number of 342922

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Furniture products can be found on the Web site listed above.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, the table legs can become unsteady when moved, causing the Concrete Dining Tables to collapse when utilizing the product in a reasonable manner expected with its intended design, posing an injury hazard.

CB2 has received four reports of the tables collapsing including three reports of injuries involving a laceration and a swollen leg/ankle.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Concrete Dining Tables, please do not use or move them. Instead, kindly contact CB2 immediately for instructions on how to obtain a refund for your Table.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat laceration, concussion, bone fracture and/or crush injuries.
