US FlagUS/Silver Spring: Spring: B&G Foods, a Parsippany, New Jersey establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Back to Nature branded Organic Rosemary & Olive Oil Stoneground Wheat Crackers from the American marketplace due to suspected incorrect packaging and consequential undeclared Peanuts, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

Additional information:
The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Wheat Cracker products are subject to this recall:

  • Back to Nature Organic Rosemary & Olive Oil Stoneground Wheat Crackers, sold in six (6) ounce cardboard boxes with a best-before date code of APR 25 2021 and a UPC of 8-19898-01015-8

==> No manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FDA, this recall was initiated after customers informed B&G Foods that certain batch/lots of Back to Nature Organic Rosemary & Olive Oil Stoneground Wheat Crackers were, in fact, filled with foil wrapped pouches of the company’s Peanut Butter Cookies, a product that contains Peanuts, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis.

The recalled Stoneground Wheat Crackers are known to have been shipped and distributed by B&G Foods to warehouses in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Maine, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Back to Nature branded Organic Rosemary & Olive Oil Stoneground Wheat Cracker products and could be allergic to their Peanut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
