The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Prepared Pasta Meals are subject to this recall:

  • LiveFit branded Penne & Meatball Meals, sold in one (1) count containers; affected batch/lots: all codes where Egg, Milk and Soy are not declared on the label

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CFIA, LiveFit Foods has recalled certain batch/lots of Penne & Meatballs Meals from the Canadian marketplace due to undeclared Egg, Milk and Soy.

Please note: while these food products may be close to or past their use-by dates, they may be in your freezers or storage chillers. If you have purchased these products within the past three (3) months, please check your refrigerators, chillers and/or freezers to ensure these food products have not been stored for future consumption. If found, these products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase for refund.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Penne & Meatballs Meal and could be allergic to their Egg, Milk and/or Soy ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
