Australia FlagAustralia/Canberra: ALDI Inner Goodness UHT Soy Milk Recall [Australia]ALDI Stores, a Prestons, New South Wales establishment and subsidiary of German food conglomerate ALDI Süd recalls certain batch/lots of Inner Goodness Regular UHT Soy Milk from the Australian marketplace due to suspected unidentified microbial contamination and consequential risk of bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health hazards.

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following UHT Soy Milk products are subject to this recall:

  • ALDI Inner Goodness UHT Soy Milk, sold in 1 L coated boxes with a best-before date of 12/03/2021

==> No barcodes, APNs, EANs, UPCs, DINs, item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, the recall is due to suspected microbial contamination. You should neither serve nor consume the recalled UHT Soy Milk identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled UHT Soy Milk products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 0-0-0, your closest hospital or emergency centre equipped to properly treat bacterial poisonings.
