Among the forty-seven (47) recalls the NHTSA announced this July comes news of the following:

Logo - Jayco, Inc.Jayco, Inc. (“Jayco”), a Middlebury, Indiana establishment and subsidiary of Thor Industries of Elkhart, Indiana, has recalled an estimated 20V405000 model year 2016-2018 Greyhawk and Redhawk and 2018 Envoy 100 and 200 Series Motorhomes. marketed, sold and delivered in the United States.

Recall Category: Equipment – Leveling System Mounting Bracket may fail

NHTSA Safety Notification 20V405000 reports that the Mounting Bracket for the recalled Motorhome’s Leveling System Hydraulic Pump may fail and allow the Pump or the fluid reservoir to contact the ground.

According to the NHTSA, if the Mounting Bracket fails and allows the Pump and Reservoir to contact the ground and possibly detach or leak hydraulic fluids, increasing the risk of a crash, MVA or other impact event with consequential injury and/or life-changing results.

Jayco will notify registered owners and dealers will add an Support Bracket to reinforce the existing Support Bracket, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin August 14, 2020.

Owners may contact Jayco’s Customer Service toll-free at 1-800-517-9137 during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, Eastern Standard Time (“EST”). Jayco’s designation for this recall is 9903515.
