Canada FlagCanada/Ottawa: Riveriene Farm Ltd. operating as Carnivora Pet Foods, a Saskatoon, Saskatchewan establishment, recalls an estimated 1,803 units of Carnivora branded Fresh Frozen Patties for Dogs and Cats from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected risk of Escherichia coli (“E.coli”) contamination and consequential risk of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health hazards.

==> No manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to Health Canada, Riveriene Farm Ltd. operating as Carnivora Pet Foods has recalled an estimated 1,803 units of Carnivora branded Fresh Frozen Patties for Dogs and Cats from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected risk of Escherichia coli (“E.coli”) contamination

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure pets and small children can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Pet Foods, please do not feed them to your pet(s). Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund. Wash down all prep surfaces, serving implements and serving bowls with a bleach/water mixture; rinse well with lots of hot soapy water.
