Paw Patrol Water Bullet Toy Gun Recall [Australia]

Australia FlagAustralia/Canberra: Super Kid Star Pty Ltd, a Balgowlah, New South Wales establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Paw Patrol branded Water Bullet 4-in-1 Toy Guns from the Australian marketplace due to suspected failure to comply with the requirements of Australia’s mandatory standard ‘Consumer Protection Notice No.16 of 2010 – Consumer Product Safety Standard: Children’s Projectile Toys’.

Specifically, the product is capable of shooting projectiles at a high velocity and the packaging is not labelled with the appropriate safety warning with consequential risks of laceration and eye injury, all serious safety hazards.

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Gun Toys to this recall:

  • Paw Patrol Water Bullet Toy Guns, sold in white, red and blue colours and that fire soft and water crystal bullets

==> No barcodes, APNs, UPCs, DINs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, if a projectile’s velocity is too high, or the product is improperly used, this increases the risk of eye or facial injuries.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Paw Patrol Water Bullet 4-in-1 Toy Guns, please do not use them nor allow your child to play with or near them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
