US FlagUS/Washington: FlyBar Inc., a Freehold, New Jersey establishment, recalls an estimated 3,000 Swurfer branded Kiwi Baby and Toddler Swings from the American marketplace due to suspected component detachment and consequential risks of falls, laceration, concussion and bone fracture, all serious safety hazards.

Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves the Swurfer branded Kiwi Baby and Toddler Swings.

  • The recalled Baby and Toddler Swings are made of plastic, sold in green, blue and pink colors and attach overhead to a third-party swing set or a tree branch. Each Swing measures approximately 15 inches wide by 10 inches deep and 20 inches high and weighs about four (4) pounds. The company, “FlyBar, Inc.” and style, “Kiwi Swing SSW-0005” can be found printed on the underside of the Swings. A manufacture date code of “August 2019” can be found embossed on the back of each of the recalled Swing products.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, the plastic stopper on the bottom of the Swing rope that holds the Swing Seat in place can detach, posing fall and injury hazard to the child occupant.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Swurfer branded Kiwi Baby and Toddler Swings, please do not use them for your child. Instead, kindly contact the firm to receive instructions to repair the Swings.
