Australia FlagAustralia/Canberra: ALDI Stores, a Prestons, New South Wales establishment and subsidiary of German food conglomerate ALDI Süd, recalls certain batch/lots of Berg Deli Prosciutto from the Australian marketplace due to suspected mislabelling and consequential undeclared Milk, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports this recall involves certain batch/lots of Berg Deli Prosciutto products as follows:

  • Berg Deli Prosciutto Ham Sliced, sold in 100 gram plastic packages with a use-by date code of 18.06.20 and a batch/lot code of 59793

==> No barcodes, APNs, UPCs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, this recall is due to undeclared Milk. Anyone with an allergy or intolerance to Milk should avoid consuming this Meat product.

Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
