Additional information:
The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Mixed Nut products are subject to this recall:

  • DSD Unbranded Roasted, Salted Deluxe Mixed Nuts, sold in ten (10) ounce clear plastic deli-style containers with best-before dates of 12/28/20 and 01/01/21 and a UPC of 65143370994

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the FDA, the recall was initiated after it was discovered that the Peanut-containing product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of Peanuts. Subsequent investigation indicates that DSD was mistakenly shipped cartons containing peanuts commingled with the correct product not containing peanuts from one of its suppliers. Production of the product has been suspended until FDA and the company are certain that the problem has been corrected.

The recalled Mixed Nuts were distributed in Northern California, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming for sale in grocery stores.
