Australia FlagAustralia/Canberra: Monde Nissin Australia Pty Ltd, a Mulgrave, Victoria establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Black Swan branded Crafted Basil Dip products with Cashews and Parmesan from the Australian marketplace due to undeclared Peanuts, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Basil Dip products are subject to this recall:

  • Black Swan Crafted Basil Dip with Cashews and Parmesan, with a use-by date of 22 May 20 and an APN/EAN of 9310228007240

==> No barcodes, APNs, UPCs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, Monde Nissin Australia recalls certain batch/lots of Black Swan branded Crafted Basil Dip products with Cashews and Parmesan from the Australian marketplace due to undeclared Peanuts.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Black Swan Crafted Basil Dip products and could be allergic to their Peanuts ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
