Logo - Mercedes-Benz USAMercedes-Benz USA, LLC. (“MBUSA”), a Sandy Springs, Georgia establishment and subsidiary of Daimler AG of of Stuttgart, Germany, has recalled an estimated 6,517 model year 2019-2020 G550 4MATIC and G63 AMG 4MATIC vehicles marketed, sold and delivered in the United States.

NHTSA Safety Notification 20V090000 reports that an electrical resistor within the differential locking module in the recalled vehicles may malfunction, interrupting communication between the control unit and the differential locking actuator, possibly resulting in the deactivation of the Electronic Stability Program (“ESP”) and Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) while driving.
