US FlagUS/Silver Spring: Moonstruck Chocolate Co., a Portland, Oregon establishment, recalls an estimated 1,500 Praline Pecan & Ginger Element Bars in Dark Chocolate from the American marketplace due to undeclared Milk, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Confectionery Snacks are subject to this recall:

  • Praline Pecan & Ginger Element Bars in Dark Chocolate, sold in 3.1-ounce (85 gram) brown kraft box with a SKU number of 312806, best-by dates ranging from 8/11/2020 to 10/10/2020, batch/lots of 1101242, 1101731, 1101734, 1102664, 1102708, 1102754 and 1102914 with a UPC of 7 11175 12328 8.
  • Praline Pecan & Ginger Element Bars in Dark Chocolate, sold in 3.1-ounce (85 gram) gold caddy with a SKU number of 312806 best-by dates ranging from 8/11/2020 to 10/10/2020, batch/lots of 1101242, 1101731, 1101734, 1102664, 1102708, 1102754 and 1102914 with a UPC of 10 7 11175 12806 8.

According to the FDA, the affected recalled Chocolate Praline Pecan & Ginger Element Bars in Dark Chocolate were distributed nationwide through retail stores, online orders, and direct delivery between November 9, 2019 and February 19, 2020.

Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
