Australia FlagAustralia/Canberra: ALDI Stores, a Prestons, New South Wales establishment and subsidiary of German food conglomerate ALDI Süd, recalls certain batch/lots of Farmdale branded Full Cream Milk products from the Australian marketplace due to suspected Escherichia coli contamination and consequential risk of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health hazards.

Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Farmdale branded Full Cream Milk products are subject to this recall:

  • Farmdale branded Full Cream Milk, sold in 3 liter jugs with a use-by date of 25 February 2020 and an APN/EAN designation of 26244365

Please consult the photograph above for details of the beverage’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, this recall was initiated due to suspected Escherichia coli contamination of certain batch/lots of Farmdale branded Full Cream Milk products.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Farmdale branded Full Cream Milk products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 0-0-0, your closest hospital or emergency centre equipped to properly treat bacterial poisoning.
