Canada/Ottawa: WW Enterprises recalls certain batch/lots of The King of the Blues branded Blue Cheese Gourmet Dressing & Dip from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected Mould (Mold) contamination and consequential risk of infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health hazards.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Blue Cheese Dressing products are subject to this recall:

  • The King of the Blues branded Blue Cheese Gourmet Dressing & Dip, sold in 500 ml bottles with a best-before date code of 8 29 20 (also written as 29AU20) and a UPC of 6 89154 00011 3

Please consult the photograph above for details of the Dressing’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the CFIA, WW Enterprises has recalled certain batch/lots of The King of the Blues branded Blue Cheese Gourmet Dressing & Dip products from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected Mould/Mold contamination. You should neither serve nor consume the recalled Blue Cheese products identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Blue Cheese Dressing products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat mould ingestion poisoning.
