US FlagUS/Silver Spring: New Seasons Market, a Portland, Oregon establishment, recalls an estimated 30 Grab N’ Go Vegetarian Lasagna w/ Gluten-Free Pasta products from the American marketplace due to undeclared Soy, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

Additional information:
The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Vegetarian Lasagna with Gluten-Free Pasta products are subject to this recall:

  • Grab N’ Go Vegetarian Lasagna with Gluten-Free Pasta, sold with packed-on dates ranging from 2/1 to 2/3, sell-by dates ranging from 2/6 to 2/9 and a partial UPC of 52390

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging and retail presentation.

According to the FDA, this recall was initiated due to the presence of an undeclared Soy.

Please note: this recall affects only Gluten-Free Pasta products that were made and purchased at the New Seasons Market’s Hawthorne location, located at 4034 SE Hawthorne Blvd, at this time.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Grab N’ Go Vegetarian Lasagna with Gluten-Free Pasta products and could be allergic to their Soy ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat Anaphylaxis.
