UK FlagUK/London: Iceland Foods Ltd., a Deeside, Flintshire establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of NO MOO branded Chocolate Puddings from the British marketplace due to undeclared Milk, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Puddings are subject to recall:

  • NO MOO branded Chocolate Puddings, sold in 160 gram boxes; affected batch/lots: all packages with best-before dates up to and including 13 July 2021

==> No barcodes, EANs, UPCs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, Iceland has recalled certain batch/lots of NO MOO branded Chocolate Puddings because they are marked as being “VEGAN” yet may contain Milk, an ingredient not mentioned on the product label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to Milk or Milk derivatives.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Chocolate Pudding products and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-9-9, your closest hospital A&E or emergency centre equipped to properly treat Anaphylaxis.
