US FlagUS/Washington: Baby Trend, a Fontana, California establishment, recalls an estimated 2,000 Tango Mini Baby Strollers from the American marketplace due to suspected structural collapse and consequential risks of laceration, falls, bone fractures, concussion and finger amputation, all serious safety hazards.

Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves four (4) models of Black Tango Mini Baby Strollers, as follows:

  • Each of the recalled Tango Mini Baby Strollers is marked with its own model number and identifiable by a uniquely colored bonnet top sold in Quartz Pink (model number ST31D09A), Sedona Gray (model number ST31D10A), Jet Black (model number ST31D11A), and Purest Blue (model number ST31D03A). Model numbers are printed in black on a white sticker located on one of the Stroller’s legs.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, both of the recalled Stroller’s hinge joints can release and collapse under pressure. If this defect occurs, it posing fall and injury hazards to children carried in the Stroller.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Tango Mini Baby Strollers, please do not use them. Instead, kindly contact Baby Trend for a replacement or full refund.
