US FlagUS/Washington: Thesaurus Global Marketing Inc., a Doral, Florida establishment, recalls an estimated 370 Little Bambino 4-in-1 Canopy Children’s Tricycles sold at Amazon.com from the American marketplace due to suspected violation of the Federal Lead Paint Ban and consequential risks of lead poisoning, developmental and reproductive damage, all serious health hazards.

Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain Little Bambino 4-in-1 Canopy Children’s Tricycles, as follows:

  • The recalled three-wheeled Children’s Tricycles can be used as a Push Stroller or a Push, Training and Classic Tricycle. The Children’s Tricycles were sold in blue, pink or red and have a back handle, an elongated back rest, a basket, a canopy and a bell on the front handle. The Little Bambino logo is on the front of the Tricycle. The model designation of “BW204” and a UPC of 653981740030, 653981740092, 653981740108, 656857123326, 656857123333 or 656857123340 can be found on the product packaging.

According to the CPSC, the paint on the Canopy’s frame contains levels of the chemical Lead that exceed the Federal Lead Paint ban and tricycle components contain levels of Lead that exceed the federal Lead content ban. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues including neurological and/or reproductive damage.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Children’s Tricycles, please do not use them not let your child play with or near them. Instead, kindly remove the Tricycle from the child and contact Thesaurus Global Marketing for a full refund, including the cost of shipping. Amazon.com is also contacting all known purchasers directly.
