Canada/Ottawa: Loblaw Companies Limited, a Brampton, Ontario establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of President’s Choice branded Maple Apple Seasoned Pork Loin Roast products from the Canadian marketplace due to undeclared Mustard, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention..

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Pork Loin Roast products are subject to this recall:

  • President’s Choice branded Maple Apple Seasoned Pork Loin Roast, sold in 730 gram plastic-wrapped packages with a best-before date code of 2020-JA-10 and a UPC of 0 60383 20663 5

According to the CFIA, Loblaw Companies has recalled certain batch/lots of President’s Choice branded Maple Apple Seasoned Pork Loin Roast products from the Canadian marketplace due to undeclared Mustard.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled President’s Choice branded Maple Apple Seasoned Pork Loin Roast products and could be allergic to their Mustard ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Maple Apple Seasoned Pork Loin Roast products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
