According to the FDA, Reichel Foods has recalled certain batch/lots of ready-to-eat Reichel Foods Pro2Snax to the Max Snack Kits products from the American marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination. You should neither serve nor consume the recalled Sandwiches identified above.

This notification was initiated as a knock-on recall from Reichel Foods’ primary supplier Almark Foods, a Gainesville, Georgia establishment, because Almark Foods supplied certain lots of Eggs that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. These Eggs are thought to be the source of an ongoing Listeria monocytogenes foodborne illness investigation.

Reichel Foods has recalled the above Reichel Foods Pro2Snax to the Max Snack Kits because the Hardboiled Egg products have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Almark’s Eggs are currently associated with an outbreak of Listeriosis illness consisting of seven (7) known illnesses in five (5) states.
