Among the 39 (thirty nine) recalls the European Union has announced in its fourth report of November 2019, the following recall notification was made:

Caretero Lózeczko Turystyczne Foldable Travel Cot

Caretero branded Lózeczko Turystyczne Foldable Travel Cot products sold with a model name of Simplo and an EAN/UPC of 5902021521609.

The type of hazards presented in these recalled Foldable Children’s Cot products include the report that the foldable mattress of the Cot folds too easily. Consequently, a small child could pull the mattress up and get her or her head trapped between the mattress and the base of the Cot. If this defect occurs, it can lead to suffocation, bone fracture and/or choking, all serious health and safety hazards.

In addition, a small child could place his or her head in the outside pocket of the recalled Cot and become trapped. If this defect occurs, it can also lead to suffocation and/or fractures.

Due to these defects and their associated risks, these Foldable Travel Cot products do not comply with Europe’s Regulation EN 716.

Consequently, a recall of these products from European end users has been ordered.
