According to the FDA, Mondelēz Global LLC has recalled certain batch/lots of Nabisco branded Cheese Nips baked goods in the United States due to the possible presence of food-grade yellow plastic fragments. The company became aware of this issue when yellow plastic pieces were noticed on the manufacturing equipment. You should neither serve nor consume the recalled Cheese Nips baked goods identified above.

In general, if bone, glass, metal, plastic and/or rubber fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, cause intestinal perforation or serious infection and possibly require surgical intervention for their safe removal.
