Cay Thi Queentrees Poultry Recall [US]

US FlagUS/Washington: Cay Thi Queentrees Food USA, a Garden Grove, California establishment and the importer of record, has recalled an estimated 43,848 pounds of Poultry products due to suspected failure to present for import re-inspection upon entry into the United States, a serious health hazard. In addition, the products were produced in Vietnam, a country ineligible to export Poultry products into the United States.

Additional information:
The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Poultry products, were imported from Vietnam to the United States on various dates from January 2, 2019 and January 25, 2019. The following Poultry products are subject to this recall:

  • Slow-Cooked Black Chicken GA AC Tiem Cordyceps Sinensis Dong Trung Ha Thao, sold in 454-gram (one pound) packages with a batch/lot designation of H9007 and sell-by date codes of either Jan/02/2020 or Jan/25/2020.
  • Slow-Cooked Black Chicken GA AC Tiem Five Spice Ngu V!, sold in 454-gram (one pound) packages with a batch/lot designation of 8324/T8352 and sell-by date codes of either Jan/02/2020 or Jan/25/2020
  • Slow-Cooked Black Chicken GA AC Tiem Ginsen Nhan Sam, sold in 454-gram (one pound) packages with a batch/lot designation of A8328 and sell-by date codes of either Jan/02/2020 or Jan/25/2020

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the USDA, these items were shipped to retail locations in California, sold over the Web and by mail order.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Poultry products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
