Michael Sklovsky Pty Ltd., a Fitzroy, Victoria establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Eye Gear Sunglasses due to possible missing labelling required to identify the applicable lens category and relevant description, indicating the amount of UV radiation protection provided by the glasses with consequential risk of serious and possible life-changing eye damage all serious health and safety hazards.

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Sunglasses are subject to this recall:
- Michael Sklovsky Eye Gear Sunglasses, sold with a bar code of 9325595000268
Please consult the photograph above for details of the products’ design and retail presentation. Additional images of the recalled Sunglasses can be found on the Web site above.
According to the ACCC, the Eye Gear Sunglasses do not comply with the labelling requirements of the ‘Consumer Goods (Sunglasses and Fashion Spectacles) Safety Standard 2017’. The products are missing required information about restrictions on use.
Specifically, the recalled Sunglasses may be missing required labelling identifying the lens category and relevant description, which indicates the amount of UV radiation protection provided by the glasses.
Wearers of these Sunglasses need to be informed through labelling what level of UV protection the Sunglasses provide. Use of incorrectly labelled glasses may pose a risk of serious and possible irreversible damage to eyes.
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Sunglasses, please do not use them. Instead, return them to an Ishka store for a full refund.
