US FlagUS/Washington:Federal Cartridge Company, a Manhattan, Montana establishment doing business as Blackhawk, a Virginia Beach, Virginia establishment recalls an estimated 3,100 Blackhawk branded T-Series L2C Gun Holsters due to suspected changing of the protected weapon’s safety mechanism from “safe” to “armed” with consequential risk of sudden and unintentional weapon discharge, gunshot injury, laceration, limb fractures and death, all serious safety hazards.

Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain Blackhawk T-Series Black Gun Holsters L2C made of molded plastic components.

  • The recalled Blackhawk Black Gun Holsters are designed to be used with Sig Sauer P320/P250 civilian firearms that clip onto the user’s belt. A product designation of “2101213 A” can be found on the outside of each of the recalled Gun Holsters.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation. Additional images of the recalled Gun Holsters can be found on the Web site/sites listed above.

According to the CPSC, the Holster’s design structure can change the position of the safety switch on the firearm without the operator knowing it. If this defect occurs and if the trigger is subsequently pulled, the weapon could fire unexpectedly, posing an injury hazard to the operator and/or any bystanders.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Gun Holsters, please do not use them. Instead, kindly contact Blackhawk for a full refund.
