Canada/Ottawa: Randsland Farms Inc., a Delhaven, Nova Scotia establishment, expands its existing recall for certain batch/lots of Randsland branded Super Salad Kit and Randsland branded Kale products to a wider known distribution area including four (4) Canadian provinces/territories of Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador.
The original recall was due to the suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consequential risk of Gram-positive bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health hazards.
