Additional information:
The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Cookie products are subject to this recall:

  • Variety Packs containing Peanut Butter Cookies, sold in 18-count packages at BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarkets and Winn-Dixie stores with a SLU code of 5079
  • Peanut Butter Cookies, sold in 18-count packages at BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarkets and Winn-Dixie stores with a SLU code of 69886

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FDA, Southeastern Grocers has recalled for two 18-count cookie products sold in the bakery. The recall is due to the inclusion of an undeclared allergen in the products.

The 18-count Variety Pack containing Peanut Butter Cookies and the 18-count Peanut Butter Cookie did not include peanut ingredients on the label.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Cookie products and could be allergic to their Peanut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat Anaphylaxis.
