US NHTSA Recalls: Buick Enclave & Chevrolet Traverse

Among the 36 recalls the NHTSA has announced this September comes news of the following:

Logo - General Motors LLCGeneral Motors LLC (“GM”), a Detroit, Michigan, establishment, has recalled an estimated 3,420 model year 2020 Buick Enclave and Chevrolet Traverse vehicles marketed, sold and delivered in the United States. The right-hand frame rail in the engine compartment may be cracked in the recalled vehicles.

According to the NHTSA, a crack in the frame rail may reduce crash performance, increasing the risk of an injury.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, as necessary, replace the vehicle, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-630-2438 or Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300 during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, Eastern Standard Time (“EST”). GM’s designation for this recall is N192268310.
