Additional information:

Among the twenty (20) recalls the NHTSA has announced this September comes news of the following:

Logo - KenworthPACCAR Incorporated (“PACCAR”), a Bellevue, Washington establishment, has recalled an estimated 139 model year 2020 Kenworth T270 and T370 Trucks marketed, sold and delivered in the United States. The brake treadle valves in the recalled vehicles may have loose compression fittings, which can cause the air supply hose to separate from the valve.

According to the NHTSA, a separated hose may cause reduced braking ability, increasing the risk of a crash.

PACCAR will notify registered owners, and dealers will inspect the brake treadle valve hose connections for loose compression fittings, tightening them as necessary, free of charge. Owners may contact Kenworth customer service at 1-425-828-5888 during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, Pacific Standard Time (“EST”). PACCAR’s designation for this recall is 19KWD.

You may also contact the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) during normal business hours, Eastern Standard Time, or visit https://www.safercar.gov/.
