The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Foods are subject to recall:

  • Flames Foods branded Lamb Samosa, sold with best-before dates up to and including 16 July 2020
  • Flames Foods branded Chicken Samosa, sold with best-before dates up to and including 16 July 2020
  • Flames Foods branded Kubba Tarabulsia, sold with best-before dates up to and including 16 July 2020
  • Flames Foods branded Potato Kubba, sold with best-before dates up to and including 16 July 2020
  • Flames Foods branded Vegetarian Kubba Tarabulsia, sold with best-before dates up to and including 16 July 2020
  • Flames Foods branded Vegetarian Potato Kubba, sold with best-before dates up to and including 16 July 2020
  • Flames Foods branded Vegetable Samosa, sold with best-before dates up to and including 16 July 2020
  • Flames Foods branded Cheese Samosa, sold with best-before dates up to and including 16 July 2020
  • Flames Foods branded Vegetable Samosa Sambousek, sold with best-before dates up to and including 16 July 2020
  • Flames Foods branded Lamb Spring Rolls, sold with best-before dates up to and including 16 July 2020
  • Flames Foods branded Chicken Spring Rolls, sold with best-before dates up to and including 16 July 2020
  • Flames Foods branded Vegetarian Spring Rolls, sold with best-before dates up to and including 16 July 2020
  • Flames Foods branded Cheese Spring Rolls, sold with best-before dates up to and including 16 July 2020
  • Flames Foods branded Kubba Halab, sold with best-before dates up to and including 16 July 2020

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, this recall for certain Flames Foods branded Frozen Meals and Side Dishes was initiated due to undeclared Almond Nuts

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Flames Foods Frozen Meal & Side products and could be allergic to their Almond Nut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-9-9, your closest hospital A&E or emergency centre equipped to properly treat Anaphylaxis.
