Additional information:

Among the 76 recalls the NHTSA announced this past month comes news of the following:

Logo - Mercedes-BenzMercedes-Benz USA, LLC. (“MBUSA”), a Sandy Springs, Georgia establishment, has recalled an estimated 3,435 model year 2018-2019 GLA250 and GLA250 4MATIC vehicles marketed, sold and delivered in the United States. The left anchor plate of the rear middle seatbelt in the recalled vehicles may be loose.

According to the NHTSA, the seatbelt for a passenger seated in the rear middle seating position might not be properly secured, which could increase the risk of an injury in the event of a crash.

MBUSA will notify registered owners and dealers will inspect the left anchor plate of the rear middle seatbelt, correcting its installation as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin October 8, 2019. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372.
