US/Washington: Rite Aid, a Camp Hill, Pennsylvania establishment, recalls an estimated 18,800 Folding Patio Chairs due to suspected structural failure and consequential risk of falls, laceration, fracture and property damage, all serious health hazards.

Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves two (2) style/colors of Folding, Metal Framed Framed Patio Chairs with padded seats.

• The recalled Patio Chairs were sold in tan and gray and measure approximately 24 inches long by 22 inches wide by 37 inches high. UPC number 011822956628 and item number 9043325-MMXIX are printed on the packaging of the tan chair.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Patio Chairs can be found on the Web site listed above.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, the Chair’s frame can bend causing the user to fall, posing a risk of injury. Rite Aid has received four (4) reports of chairs bending unexpectedly, including one (1) report of a minor bruise and one (1) laceration injury.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Metal Framed Folding Patio Chairs, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
