US FlagUS/Washington: Swaddle Bee LLC, of Spring Valley, New York recalls an estimated 700 Loviebee branded Children’s Security Blankets due to suspected component detachment and consequential risk of choking, ingestion and GI tract laceration damage, all serious health hazards.

Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain Swaddle Bee’s Loviebee branded Security Blankets for Infants, as follows:

  • The recalled Security Blankets were sold in blue/gray, blue/white, pink/gray and pink/white color combinations with optional personalized embroidery. Each has a polyester “minky” fabric on one side and velour on the other side and measures about 16 inches by 16 inches. The Blankets have two (2) straps with a metal snap at the end of each strap and the body of the Blanket to attach the blanket to a stroller, crib or car seat or wrist. The Swaddle Bee logo is on a sewn-on tag attached to the corner of the blanket.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, the Security Blankets snaps can detach, posing a choking hazard. Swaddle Bee has received two (2) reports of the Blanket’s metal snaps detaching. No injuries have been reported.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Security Blankets, please do not use them nor let your child play with or near them. Instead, kindly return the Blanket to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
