US FlagUS/Washington: Pi Inc., doing business as Spansive, a San Bruno, California establishment, recalls an estimated 950 Spansive Source branded Wireless, Multi-Phone Chargers due to suspected component overheating and consequential risk of fire, burns and property damage, all serious safety hazards.

Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain Spansive Source branded Wireless Multi-Phone Chargers capable of powering up to six (6) phones simultaneously, four (4) wirelessly and two (2) more using the USB ports located at the base of the Charger.

  • The recalled Chargers were sold in both white and charcoal colors, each with a green label at the bottom. The brand, “Spansive” is printed on each of the Chargers.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Chargers can be found on the Web site/sites listed above.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, metallic accessories attached to phones placed on the Chargers can overheat while phones charge, posing a burn hazard to users.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Wireless Multi-Phone Chargers, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to return them to Spansive for a full refund. Spansive is contacting purchasers directly about the recall.
