The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Satay Skewers are subject to recall:

  • Blue Dragon Street Food Satay Skewers, sold in 170 gram packages with batch/lot designations and a best-before dates, as follows:
    • Batch code: GB 0439, a best-before date code of 08.2020 with a production date of 12022019
    • Batch code: GB 0459,, a best-before date code of 08.2020 with a production date of 14022019
    • Batch code: GB 0679, a best-before date code of 08.2020 with a production date of 08032019

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, this recall was initiated due to the presence of Mustard, an ingredient not declared on the product label.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Blue Dragon Street Food Satay Skewers and could be allergic to their Mustard ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
