US FlagUS/Washington: Conagra Brands, Inc., a Milton, Pennsylvania establishment, recalls an estimated 32,400 pounds of canned Kaskey’s Beefy Mac Pasta in Tomato and Meat Sauce products due to suspected processing defect and consequential risk of bacterial pathogens such as Clostridium botulinum, Escherichia coli (“E.coli”), Listeria monocytogenes and/or Salmonella leading to severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health hazards.

The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following canned Beef Pasta products are subject to this recall:

  • Kaskey’s Beefy Mac Pasta in Tomato and Meat Sauce, 15-ounce canned items with best-by date code of JUL 07 2021

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the USDA, the canned Beef products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 794” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to distribution centers and retail locations in Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland and Texas. The problem was discovered by the establishment on July 27, 2019. You should neither serve nor consume the recalled Beef Pasta products identified above.
