Additional information:
The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Chicken products are subject to recall:

  • Iceland branded Crispy Chicken Dippers, sold in 60-count bags; affected batch/lots: all date codes prior to 09 January 2021

==> No barcodes, UPCs, EANs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, these Chicken products may contain pieces of hard plastic. You should neither serve nor consume the recalled Iceland branded Crispy Chicken Dipper products identified above.

In general, if bone, glass, metal, plastic and/or rubber fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, cause intestinal perforation or serious infection and possibly require surgical intervention for their safe removal.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Iceland branded Crispy Chicken Dippers, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the chicken to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-9-9, your closest hospital A&E or emergency centre equipped to handle lacerations and/or choking.
