Crocodile Creek Eco-Kids Tritan Water Bottle Recall [Canada]

Canada/Ottawa: Crocodile Creek, a Durham, North Carolina establishment, recalls certain Crocodile Creek Eco-Kids Tritan Water Bottles due to suspected component detachment and consequential risk of choking, oral injury, internal ingestion and GI tract laceration damage, all serious health and safety hazards.

Additional information:
Health Canada/Santé Canada (“HCSC”) reports this recall involves all Eco-Kids Tritan Water Bottles with coloured sipper/spouts.

  • All Tritan Water Bottles with black or coloured sipper/spouts are included in this recall. Bottles with clear sipper/spouts are not. The recalled Bottles are identified by a batch/lot designation of 20013493-0704-0119, a number that can be found on the hang tag of the pre-sale packaging and at the bottom of each Bottle. The Bottles were sold in six different colour/patterns as follows:
    • Eco-Kids Tritan Drinking Water Bottle – Dinosaurs, sold with a batch/lot designation of 20013493-0704-0119 and a UPC of 732396104276
    • Eco-Kids Tritan Drinking Water Bottle – Wild Safari, sold with a batch/lot designation of 20013493-0704-0119 and a UPC of 732396104283
    • Eco-Kids Tritan Drinking Water Fairies – Princesses/Dancers and Dreamers, sold with a batch/lot designation of 20013493-0704-0119 and a UPC of 732396104290
    • Eco-Kids Tritan Drinking Water – Cats, sold with a batch/lot designation of 20013493-0704-0119 and a UPC of 732396104313
    • Eco-Kids Tritan Drinking Water – Garden/Secret Garden, sold with a batch/lot designation of 20013493-0704-0119 and a UPC of 732396104320
    • Eco-Kids Tritan Drinking Water – Sloth, sold with a batch/lot designation of 20013493-0704-0119 and a UPC of 732396104337

According to Health Canada, the coloured sipper/spout may be removed from the top of the Bottle, posing a choking hazard to young children.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Tritan Water Bottles, please do not use them. Instead, kindly contact Crocodile Creek to return for a replacement Bottle.
