Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Infant Seats are subject to this recall:

  • Tripp Trapp Newborn Set, infant reclined seat accessories that attach to the Stokke Steps Tripp Trapp High Chair. The Seat accessory allows the child to be at the dinner table at family meal times. The Seat accessory is designed to be used for infants ranging from 0 and 6 months, or weighing up to 9 kilograms or until the child can sit up unaided. The Seats were sold with a SKU of 526101.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s design and retail presentation. Additional images of the recalled Infant Seats can be found on the Web site above.

According to the ACCC, when re-assembling the Newborn Seat harness after washing, parents and other caregivers may mis-assemble the harness but still believe it is functional and provides fall protection. Incorrect reassembly can lead to one or more harness attachment points separating. If this defect occurs while the infant child is in the Baby Seat, the child could fall and be injured.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Infant Seats, please do not use them. Instead, kindly visit the manufacturer’s Web site at https://reclamations.stokke.com/newbornupgrade to check whether your product is affected by this recall announcement. If your Infant Seat is verified as recalled, please register to receive instructions on how to get your product repaired.

==> Until the Baby Seat is repaired, it should not be used. Please make alternate sitting arrangements for your child.
