US FlagUS/Silver Spring: Divvies, LLC, a Trumbull, Connecticut establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Divvies branded Benjamint Crunch Chocolate Bars due to undeclared Milk, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

Additional information:
The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Chocolate Bars are subject to this recall:

  • Divvies branded Benjamint Crunch Chocolate Bars, sold February 22, 2018 to May 18, 2018 with a UPC of 8550011001389

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FDA, Divvies has recalled batch/lots of its Benjamint Crunch Chocolate bars due to possible undeclared Milk in the Peppermint ingredient used in the Bars. This issue was discovered through routine testing of ingredients.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Benjamint Crunch Chocolate Milk Bars and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
