US FlagUS/Washington: J Deluca Fish Company Inc., doing business as Nautilus Seafood, a Wilmington, California firm and the Importer of Record establishment, recalls an estimated 69,590 pounds of Siluriformes Fish products of Yellow Walking Fish, a type of Siluriformes, due to suspected failure to present for import re-inspection upon entry into the United States, a serious health hazard. In addition, the products were produced at a Vietnamese establishment that was not eligible to export Siluriformes Fish products to the United States.

Additional information:
The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Siluriformes, specifically Yellow Walking Fish, were imported from Vietnam to the United States on various dates ranging from August 2018 to January 2019 and are subject to this recall:

  • Headless-Cleaned Yellow Walking Fish Clarias Macrocepphalus marked as Ca Tre Vang Lam Sach – Cat Dau Farm Raised and sold in varying weight packages containing two (2) pieces of Fish
  • Whole Yellow Walking Fish Clarias Macrocepphalus marked as Ca Tre Vang Nguyen Con Farm Raised and sold in varying weight packages containing two (2) pieces of Fish

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the USDA, these items were shipped to retail locations US nationwide.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Nautilus Seafood’s Walking Fish products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
