US FlagUS/Washington: Aurora Packing Company, Inc., a North Aurora, Illinois establishment, recalls an estimated 62,112 pounds of numerous Raw Beef products due to suspected Escherichia coli (“E.coli”) O157:H7 contamination and consequential risk of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health hazards.

The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Raw Beef products were packaged on April 19, 2019 are subject to this recall:

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail / wholesale presentation. One (1) additional OR Additional image/images of the recalled foods can be found on the Web site above.

According to the USDA, the Raw Beef products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 788” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped US nationwide for further distribution and processing. The problem was discovered during traceback activities in response to random sample testing by US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (“FSIS”). You should neither serve nor consume the recalled Raw Beef identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Raw Beef products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
