US FlagUS/Washington: Santa Fe Importers, Inc., a Long Beach, California establishment, recalls an estimated 1,589 pounds of ready-to-eat (“RTE”) Lemonade Restaurants branded Chicken Thai Style Meatball products due to suspected undeclared Soy, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

Additional information:
The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Chicken Meatball products are subject to this recall:

  • Lemonade Restaurants branded Chicken Thai Style Meatballs, sold in 226 cases with a packaging date of “4/24/2019” and a case code “114-102130”

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and wholesale presentation.

According to the USDA, the Chicken Meatball products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. P-4118” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to a distribution center in California and subsequently packed for Lemonade Restaurants as indicated on the label. You should neither serve nor consume the recalled Meatball products identified above.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Chicken Meatball products and could be allergic to their Soy ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the distributor or wholesaler where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.
