Canada/Ottawa: Logo - TJXTJX Canada, a Mississauga, Ontario establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Cuorenero brand Ccandyz Flamingo Lovers Confections due to undeclared Almond Nuts and Hazelnuts Nuts, both known allergens, sources of dietary intolerance and possible triggers of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Candy products are subject to this recall:

  • Cuorenero branded Ccandyz Flamingo Lovers Confections, sold in 300 gram packages with a best-before date of 31/12/2020 and a batch/lot designation of LG18347

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CFIA, TJX Canada has recalled certain batch/lots of Cuorenero brand Ccandyz Flamingo Lovers Confections from the Canadian marketplace due to undeclared Almond Nuts and Hazelnuts Nuts. You should neither serve nor consume the Candy products identified above.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Confectionery products and could be allergic to their Almond Nut and/or Hazelnut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Confectionery products , please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
