Australia ACCC RecallAustralia/Canberra: Steve’s Fresh Farm Eggs, a Rossmore, New South Wales establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Fresh Eggs From My Farm 12 Free Range Eggs and Fresh Eggs From My Farm Cage Eggs due to suspected Salmonella contamination and consequential risk of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health hazards.

Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Fresh Egg products are subject to this recall:

  • Fresh Eggs From My Farm 12 Free Range Eggs, sold in 700 gram cartons
  • Fresh Eggs From My Farm Cage Eggs, sold in 700 gram cartons

==> No barcodes, UPCs, APNs or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the ACCC, the recall is due to potential Salmonella contamination. Food products contaminated with Salmonella may cause illness if consumed.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Fresh Egg products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
