US FlagUS/Washington: Dick’s Sporting Goods recalls an estimated 2,600 Field & Stream Timberline branded Hang On Tree Stands due to suspected component detachment and/or breakage with consequential risk of structural collapse, falls and injuries damage, all serious health and safety hazards.

Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain Field & Stream Timberline Hang On Tree Stands.

  • The recalled Tree Stands are brown metal with a black canvas seat and are used by hunters. The codes, “HEH01566” followed by “FS080117” or “FS090117” are printed on the arm of the Tree Stands between the seat and the safety platform. The brand, “Field & Stream” is printed on the bottom of the canvas seat.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, the weld on the seats of the recalled Tree Stands can break and cause the seat to fall from the tree, posing fall and injury hazards. The firm has received three (3) reports of the Tree Stand Seats breaking. No injuries have been reported.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Hang On Tree Stands, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund. Customers with a receipt will receive a full refund while those without a receipt will receive a store credit.
