US FlagUS/Washington: Kubota Manufacturing of America Corporation, a Gainesville, Georgia establishment, recalls an estimated 3,850 Kubota Zero Turn Mowers due to suspected wiring malfunction and consequential risk of fire and property damage, all serious safely hazards.

Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves model years 2018 and 2019 Kubota ZD100 series Gasoline-Powered Zero Turn Mowers.

The model is printed on the side of the Mowers. The data plate is located on the lower frame of the unit and contains the serial number and model number. Recalled Mowers are orange and black.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, the throttle cable on the recalled Mowers can make contact with internal electric wiring, posing a fire hazard.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Mowers, please do not use them. Instead, kindly contact an authorized Kubota dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair. Kubota is contacting all known (i.e., registered) purchasers directly.
